April 24, 2010 - Miss Jax USA 2011, Sarah Sykes traveled to Dade City to support her adorable little sister, Hannah, who was a Princess in the Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen Pageant.

Also at the pageant in Dade City, Sarah got to meet some wonderful people, and spend some time with Jasmine Avery, Miss Hollywood Teen USA.

April 24, 2010 - Sarah participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS.  This walk is very near and dear to her heart as her Grandmother is in the midst of her battle with ALS.  She has been able to fight through it for the past four years, which has been quite a challenge.   Sarah knows that her Grandmother's battle and the sacrificial love that her Grandfather has for her is what drives Sarah to do the things that she does and to love others more than herself.

April 23, 2010 - Miss Jax USA 2011, Sarah Sykes took place in the Hope Powderpuff Tournament.  Hope is a non-profit organization at the University of Florida that spends their time and efforts raising money for a clinic in Tanzania.   All of the money raised went toward helping support African men, women, and children get the medical attention that they need.

April 16-17, 2010 - Miss Jax USA 2011, Sarah Sykes participated in the Relay for Life event.   She met lots of people from the Jacksonville area including cancer survivors.  She enjoyed participating in such a significant fundraiser for the American Cancer Society by selling sodas and cookies.   The event went from 6PM on April 16th until 11 AM on April 17th!   The thought behind the all-nighter was that "Cancer never sleeps and so we won't either!"

Brown Convention Center, Houston, TX.     There was an opening ceremony with the students from 70 other countries.   Everyone dressed in an outfit from their hometown or home country.   MiKyle made her first official appearance as Miss Jax Teen USA!    She got to run onto the stage with the American flag, representing the State of Florida.  Afterwards, she was swarmed by people of all ages from many different countries.  They wanted their picture taken with the "queen" which is what they called her!
