Miss Em participates in the pre-taping activities in Hollywood, Florida, enjoying a visit to Jungle Island with her fellow state contestants on Friday, September 9th.  The next day, Saturday, September 10th, all of the contestants attended a seminar at Tel-Air studios to learn everything about the upcoming Miss Florida Teen USA Pageant and what they needed to know to prepare.
