Production Number Outfit

This year we will be having a jungle theme, so you will dress as an adventurer or explorer as if you were going on a Safari (think sort of Indiana Jones-ish).

For the production number, you will need to wear all tan or khaki.  You can wear tan or khaki pants, shorts, skirt, or capri pants.  The top can be any style as long as it too is tan/khaki in color.   You can fancy up your production number outfit by using animal print as an accent (ascot, belt, sash, socks, hat, jewelry, etc.).   Shoes should be a casual shoe (not slide-on or back-less so that you can move easily) and should also be something neutral, tan, brown, etc. (not heels).   Think of trekking through the jungle or going on an archeological dig.

Be sure to wear your hair ready for the first competition, which should be casual wear. There will NOT be time to change your look between the production number and the casual wear competition, just enough time for a quick change of clothing only. Please try to select a production number outfit that you may already own or could easily borrow that fits within the guidelines. Try not to spend excessive money unnecessarily on a production number outfit that is not being judged. If you have any questions or need further assistance regarding the production number outfit, please contact Cammie Sanders or Jennifer Herrington at (904) 384-3578 (work), or by email at missjacksonville@bellsouth.net

Sample of Production Number Outfits from our 1998 jungle theme.  The ladies in black or animal print are our outgoing titleholders, Miss Florida, or an emcee.  All contestants are in tan and khaki.   The Dancers are in the tribal animal print dance costumes in front.
